NPS Mobile App
npsExplorer is a group project which resulted in a mobile-first application, offering users a personalized exploration experience of U.S. National Parks. Working as part of a small, dynamic team, I contributed my expertise in the MERN (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js) stack, alongside Mongoose for effective MongoDB object modeling. The group-effort application presents extensive park details, suggested activities, historical context, and mesmerizing visuals, all sourced via the National Park Service API. I was personally responsible for incorporating a functionality that allows user image uploads through Uploadcare. This group project effectively showcases my skills in collaboratively developing visually-engaging applications, using a NoSQL backend and React frontend.
